Ordered a peanut butter tart, a raspberry chocolate tart, and the Martha cake from here—every single treat was absolutely delicious! Special shoutout to Eric, who was so kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating when helping me with my pickup. Top-tier service and incredible desserts. Will definitely be back!

This bakery has such a nicely decorated interior with real artwork on the walls which I loved. It was also nice to hear the worker’s good music taste. Another thing that I loved was the calm atmosphere. Lots of seating and quiet for those looking to enjoy something sweet while they work. Food is a little out of my budget as someone who’s younger, but great presentation. The employees were also so kind! They have a good balance between both casual and business which made them feel easy to talk to. Overall, nice and calm experience, easy to talk to employees, and yummy looking desserts. For the short time I was there, I liked it.

I’ve always gone to Dulce de Leche Bakery, but after 4 years I decided to give Cocoa Bakery a try. I got a coffee cake and a “crookie” which is a croissant with cookie dough on top. The total came to $14, which honestly shocked me since that’s about what I’d pay for a whole box of pastries at Dulce de Leche. But I thought maybe the quality would make up for it. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The coffee cake was okay, nothing special to justify $7, and the croissant was honestly terrible, probably the driest croissant I’ve ever had. I tried to eat the “edible” parts since it was expensive to just toss, but I definitely won’t be coming back.

We had Cocoa Bakery on our food crawl today because I wanted to list something sweet after a few savory bites up the road — and I’m so glad we stopped in. Not only were the desserts delicious (highly recommend the cake truffles) and beautiful (the cupcakes were both gorgeous and tasty), but the shop itself was absolutely adorable. What impressed me most, though, was how accommodating and welcoming they were. They greeted our group of 19 with open arms, invited us all inside, brought out plates and napkins, gave the kids toys to play with, and even treated the moms to free cupcakes for Mother’s Day. Such a thoughtful touch. Truly wonderful service and a great experience all around. We’ll definitely be back!

I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered a matcha latte, and not only was a small the only size option, but I was charged almost $8 for it. To make matters worse, when it was handed to me, it wasn’t even hot. I had to ask for it to be reheated, and when they did, the liquid overflowed and made the entire cup messy (see attached photo). I also ordered a cheddar biscuit, which did taste good, but again, I had to ask for it to be warmed up—and even after that, it was still cold inside. I like to support small businesses, but this one was not a hit. Overall, it’s overpriced and the quality just doesn’t match the price in my opinion
